new painting This one is called Blue Day, and is 50"x30," oil on board. Because of its luminosity and warm/cool color interactions, it's one of my favorites that I've done recently.

I'm a sucker for rich neutrals and they are darned hard to pull off. (Explains my red crutch!) Would love to see this one for real. Very deep, I bet.
A very quiet but rich painting! I love the blue and dark brown panels in contrast with the subtle pale center panel, dreamy! Would love to see all the details from up close and touch it!
Thanks for the nice comments. The lower panel is actually more dark blue than brown as it looks in the photo. It has a bronze glaze but it is basically dark thalo blue. I'm sending this one off to Santa Fe today...I kind of hated to part with it.
