...and it's gone
The painting I posted yesterday was sold today...a collector who had seen my work at Wilde Meyer Gallery in Arizona asked the gallery to contact me to arrange the purchase after visiting my blog. The amazing internet at work!! My thanks to the new owner, and I will get Spring (yes, I named it) on its way early in the week.

Wow! That's the way art blogs are supposed to work! Especially in tandem with the artist's galleries. Congratulations, it's a beautiful painting, love the 'squeeze' part. ;-)
That is great! Too bad they just didn't buy it from you direct, but still awesome the way that worked.

Thanks for comments...and yes I'm really happy with the way it worked. I really agree with Karen's view, that this is a great example of working in tandem with a gallery...the collector would not have known about or considered my work had he not seen it in person there. Everyone benefits, which is as it should be, right?
